Borderlines get festive!

Award-winning New Vic Borderlines is set for a busy few weeks in the run up to the festive period with four performances on the cards.

The shows will see Borderlines participants, aged from 18 to 60, take to the stage with pieces inspired by the New Vic’s mainhouse show, A Christmas Carol

At 2.30pm on Wednesday 5 December Bah Humbug! will look at past personal experiences, exploring how they can affect present and future within communities.

Also on Wednesday 5 December people with learning difficulties from across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire will be joining forces for Get Up Get Out Get Into Christmas.

The show, which starts at 7.45pm, has seen the group spend recent weeks getting to grips with puppetry skills which will be showcased on stage.

Later in December, at 1pm on Thursday 13, Will You Not Speak to Me? will explore past, present and future from the perspectives of people from different cultures.

Young People’s Theatre Company meanwhile will take to the stage from 7.45pm on Tuesday 18 December for a performance of A Solitary Child.
