Lord-Lieutenant hosts 50th Anniversary celebrations

More than £10,000 was raised when Ian Dudson CBE, Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire, hosted a gala performance last week to help celebrate the theatre’s 50^th anniversary.

Hundreds of guests, including civic representatives, local business people and theatre staff past and present enjoyed a performance of A Christmas Carol, this year’s New Vic Christmas show – and enjoyed a piece of birthday cake!

A great time was had by all and many New Vic thank you to everyone who supported the evening and our fundraising efforts.
