Trusts & Foundations

The New Vic Theatre applies to trusts and foundations for support with capital building projects, to develop new theatre productions, and to support our education and outreach programmes.

Trusts and foundations were essential in helping us to build Workspace in 2009, a dedicated rehearsal and community space, with a much needed props and costume store. Workspace has been crucial in enabling the New Vic to expand our education and community work, as well as giving us the space to grow artistically.

Trusts and foundations have funded award winning outreach and education programmes, enabling us to maintain a strong link with the local communities of Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. New Vic Borderlines and New Vic Education use participatory theatre and drama to support regeneration, raise aspirations, advance social cohesion, improve educational attainments, reduce criminal and antisocial behaviour, and improve the quality of life for local people, particularly those who are disadvantaged.

We are very grateful to trusts and foundations, without their support many of these vital programmes would not be possible.

We’d love to hear from you if you are interested in finding out more about our latest aspirations and would like to work with us. Please contact Fiona Wallace, Executive Director, on 01782 717954 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
