New Vic Education is hosting the Young People on Arts Boards Training Programme in the New Year.
Applications are now open for young people to take part in a weekend designed to prepare them for the responsibilities which being a member of a Board entails.
On completion, the participants will have the chance to be placed with an arts organisation alongside a mentor, an experienced member of a Board.
Jill Rezzano, Head of New Vic Education, said: “We are really excited to be playing a part in helping young people to have their voices heard about the arts.”
The course is free of charge and is being held on Saturday and Sunday 23 and 24 January.
