Credits include: A South Bank Show Award- nomination for White Open Spaces and an Edinburgh Fringe First Award for Silent Engine; Strawberry Fields, Precious Bane (all for Pentabus Theatre as Artistic Director); Grace, Like Candyfloss, Night Train (Jade Theatre); The Turn of the Screw, The Devil’s Only Sleeping (Birmingham Rep); Gangsta Rapture, Pink Floyd’s The Wall (Midlands Arts Centre); productions for Custard Factory Theatre, the RSC Fringe Festival, Women and Theatre, the National Theatre Studio, Coventry Belgrade and Soho Theatre. Theresa has written plays and screenplays for the Royal Court Young Writers’ Festival, Midlands Arts Centre, ITV and BBC Radio including, most recently, Woman’s Hour dramatizations of Lady Audley’s Secret and Wives and Daughters.

Theresa studied at Oxford University and trained at Birmingham Rep on the ITV/Regional Theatres, Director scheme.
