It’s been a busy couple of weeks at the New Vic, as the cast of Astley’s Astounding Adventures have been getting to grips with their circus skills in preparation for a show like no other…

Astley’s Astounding Adventures tells the story of local hero and inventor of the modern circus, Philip Astley, and is full of comedy, drama, fast-paced action and spectacular circus stunts! Cast members have been undergoing an intense series of training sessions that allow them to perform silk routines, escapology and even try their hand at flame throwing.
