Angus MacRae is a London based composer and musician. He has collaborated with a diverse range of filmmakers, choreographers, theatre directors, animators and photographers from across Europe and beyond.
For the stage, he has worked alongside dance companies including 2Faced Dance, Welsh Ballet and Wayne Parsons Dance, writing music for productions that have toured the UK and overseas. Alongside this, his extensive work for the theatre includes original music for a diverse range of plays, performed at venues including Trafalgar Studios, Soho Theatre, Finborough Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, National Theatre Studio and The Pleasance, Edinburgh.
His recent film scores include music for the BAFTA long-listed dystopian thriller The Listener; the beautifully stylised Way Out, by acclaimed Chinese animator Yukai Du; The Other Side of Home, an eerie science fiction drama directed by Jesse Ross; and Interlude, a recent winner of the Sci-Fi London 48 hour film challenge. His music has also been heard on advertising campaigns for brands including Sony, Toyota, Sky and Homebase, which have aired in the UK and internationally. www.angusmacraemusic.com
