Frances Marshall
After last crossing the stage while heavily pregnant during Family Album, Frances’ most recent project has taken up much of the last two years and is ongoing. She’s beyond excited to be back!
Frances trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and has a degree in Drama from the University of Hull.
Previous work at the SJT includes: Family Album, Season’s Greetings, Joking Apart and A Brief History Of Women, which then went on to 59E59 Theaters in New York.
Other theatre includes: The Snow Queen (Park Theatre); The Secret Garden, The 39 Steps, Abigail’s Party, Fallen Angels, Swallows and Amazons, Rogue Herries, The Maid of Buttermere (Theatre By The Lake); The Massacre at Paris (Rose, Bankside); The Railway Children (York Theatre Royal/NRM); The Busybody (Southwark Playhouse); Private Resistance (Eastern Angles); The Merry Wives of Windsor (Stafford Festival Shakespeare).
Film/TV and audio includes: Daniel Defoe’s Plague Year (Moscow English Theatre); Capturing Mary (BBC 2); Mr. Gibson (Project 7); A Good Heart (Elton John); The Sacrifice of Sherlock Holmes (Big Finish).
Other: Frances is a director of HistoryRiot, creating interactive performances in heritage sites such as the Tower of London, Hampton Court, York Museums and the Royal Armouries, Leeds.
