Wednesday 13 February 2019

An Evening with Sir Michael Parkinson celebrates the life and career of a man who has interviewed over 2000 of the most important cultural figures of the 20th and 21st centuries including Nelson Mandela, Marlon Brando, Dame Helen Mirren and Mohammed Ali.

Showing highlights from the Parkinson archive, this is a unique opportunity to get an intimate, entertaining and informative look at his remarkable journey from a pit village in Yorkshire to the top of those famous stairs.

In conversation with his son, Mike, this will be a night of reflective and celebratory entertainment, which will undoubtedly bring the very best of a man who has shaped the perception of show business, popular culture and recent history for years to come.
