The public vote to crown the UK’s Most Welcoming Theatre is now open, as UK Theatre once again ask audiences across the country to vote for the theatre they feel deserves to be given the title for 2018.
At the New Vic, we pride ourselves on giving everyone a fantastic welcome, and a great experience. Whether it’s helpful advice from our Box Office and Front of House teams, a smile from our helpful car park attendants or a friendly chat with our café and bar staff, our team enjoy meeting everyone who visits us. We hope all our audiences enjoy coming to the theatre, to watch a show, take part in our Borderlines and Education workshops, or simply to enjoy a spot of lunch in our café and if you love the welcome the New Vic gives you, we’d love it if you would vote for us to become the UK’s Most Welcoming Theatre in the UK Theatre Awards 2018.
In 2015, the New Vic scooped the regional award for Most Welcoming Theatre in the West Midlands category. This year, we’d like to go one step further! If you think we deserve to win, you can vote for us by clicking here, selecting our region (West Midlands) and voting for us. Voters have the option to be in win a chance of winning Theatre Tokens worth £250 too.
Voting is open now and closes at noon on Tuesday 18 September.
Regional winners will be announced before the overall UK winner is revealed in October.
